So, this is really a not-so-wordless post! How could I be wordless on my little boy’s birthday?!
I can’t believe that my wonderful Zachary is four years old. Here is baby Zachary at two days old in the hospital:
And here’s my very handsome, very grown up four-year-old boy!
Zachary is such a sweet, funny boy with a caring, sensitive nature. He enjoys playing with his friends, but he loves being with his family. He adores his little brother and his dog. He is very curious, he is brave, he is independent, and he is so clever. He also has the most wonderful smile – you can’t help being happy when you see him smile at you, no matter how you feel!
As I was taking these photos, Zachary kept looking into the sky. He loves looking at the clouds just as much as I do. “Mommy,” he said. “The sky looks so beautiful! I want to go up into the sky and jump on each one of the clouds!”
I love his imagination and sense of adventure. Maybe one day he’ll be a scientist or an inventor. It certainly will be fun to see where life takes him. He’s grown so much this year… both in showing responsibility and independence as well as having lots of big-boy interests! He loves Star Wars now in addition to his beloved Angry Birds, he can build almost anything out of legos, and he is a very creative storyteller.
We love you SO MUCH, Zachary! Happy 4th Birthday! Love Mommy, Daddy, Baby Will, and Maya
