Adrian and I think a lot about what sort of vacation we want to take next There are so many trips that we know we’d love, but many of our ideas aren’t really feasible with a very active two-year-old in tow.

I’d have to say that my ultimate vacation right now would keep us right here in the United States. Zachary does pretty well in the car, so we’d start out with a road trip up to New England and probably stay in New Hampshire near the mountains or a lake. The scenery is just beautiful and there is tons of hiking and exploring to be done. Plus, the area is very close to many historical places including Boston and New York.

I’d love to actually rent a real vacation home since it would give us more room to spread out, since I’d obviously want to bring my cameras & associated accessories – not to mention all the things you take with you when you’re traveling with a small child! Maybe we could even find a place that allows animals so we could bring our dog, Maya. I’d love to do a trip like this during the summer so we could get out of the humidity & hot weather; however, seeing the leaves turn colors in the fall would also be a real treat for the eyes!
