To celebrate Will’s three week birthday, I took both kids out by myself for the first time to Barnes and Noble. I knew that Zachary would have a great time there since we go pretty frequently anyway, and I figured the baby would just sleep in his stroller. That’s basically what happened. 🙂 I got Zachary a cookie and then took him to play with the trains, legos, and books, which he loved, of course! It was nice being out with both kids, as I have felt a bit stir-crazy lately, though the stroller was pretty heavy and lifting it was a good reminder that I did just have major surgery 3 weeks ago. I think I will take it easy for a while, and keep these two-kid excursions at a minimum until I am feeling closer to 100%, but it felt good to know that I could do it!!
