I finished the Vampire Academy series last month thanks to my friend Alissa lending me all of her books, and I was stoked to see that Richelle Mead‘s next series, Bloodlines, is a tie-in with the VA books!

The official Bloodlines #1 book cover has been released (read the Entertainment Weekly article about it if you want). What do you think? Did you read and enjoy Vampire Academy? I absolutely loved the series and was intrigued by the character of Sydney. I’m excited that this series will focus on her (though I’ll definitely miss Rose and Dimitri). As for the cover, I personally love it and can’t wait til August to read this book!
