There are some things I do really well, and some things I’m very unsure about… and would probably do well with a little more confidence! Take business for example. While I loooove chatting with new clients on the phone, discussing wedding plans, wedding venues, and wedding timelines (you get the drift), talking to other business owners about cross-marketing with them is something I’m not so confident about. This week I’ve made steps to change that and have had a very positive response. I sucked it up and told myself that I could do it – it never hurts to call and ask and the worst someone could say is no. Well, so far, it’s been a week full of YES! I’m sure I’ll hit a no here and there as I continue on this journey, but I’ve had a pretty exciting week.

The ability outside ones’s comfort zone is the best ingredient for success. You are providing a resource for other vendors. Your creative spark is very contagious. You have a wonderful ability to persuade!
That’s terrific. Some people have a hard time being confident in themselves..I am one of those people. So, good for you. It’s hard to step out of your comfort zone and take a leap of faith into unknown territory. But, hey, risks can turn into big payoffs. It can lead to new opportunities. So, good for you, girl!
