It’s been sooo hot here in South FL lately… it’s even more apparent when I am outside running and sweating like crazy! I am really starting to look forward to the fall and winter… my favorite time of year! Finally the weather in Florida becomes bearable… and in just a few weeks, it’s going to be Pumpkin Spice Latte season at Starbucks. My diet is always in danger when there is pumpkin around…. I’m going to have to be super strict with myself!
I was looking through photos on my computer and realized that among the various pictures that I have never posted on my blog, for some reason I never shared my photos from my cruise to Alaska back in July 2010. That trip was so much fun, and I took some awesome pictures. We sailed on the Zuiderdam with Adrian’s entire family and had a blast!
Here are two images that I love… one sailing through the glaciers… and one of the White Pass Railway train tour that we took. Looking forward to heading back one day when our kids are a bit bigger so that we can enjoy it all over again through their eyes!
I definitely plan on posting more photos (just need to pick out a few for a bigger blog post), since I have a lot, but here are two to start. 🙂
I was just thinking of making pumpkin bread! I have a book called Eat What You Love that has healthy recipes that are also fantastic. There is one for a Pumpkin Pecan Cake. Super delish! I’m right there with you, Karen. This heat has got to go! on a side note, I think that second picture is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. I love the green!
Janette — Pumpkin Bread sounds like it would be perfect right about now! I’m totally going to look up that book. I need some healthy/yummy recipes for this holiday season!
