I was in the mood for something easy for dinner last night, so I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich!
To spice it up a bit, I spread pesto on the inside of each slice of bread (we buy Nature’s Own – 50 calorie whole wheat bread). Then, I layered Applegate Farms Roasted Turkey Breast and diced onions inside two slices of gouda cheese. I sprayed both sides of the sandwich as well as the pan with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter spray, which has zero calories.
Next time, I think I’ll add some bacon and tomatoes. This sandwich was easy and very filling. I can definitely see myself making it often when I want something yummy, warm, and comforting!
I feel like my favorite hobby is “looking at pictures of food online when I am hungry.” This looks so good!
