I absolutely LOVE Clyde Butcher’s work – he is one of my favorite photographers. He is a well-known South Florida photographer who captures scenes from Big Cypress and the Florida Everglades. He takes the most incredible black and white photographs of our state’s lush landscapes that are very reminiscent of Ansel Adams’ work – another amazing landscape photographer.
The Ft. Lauderdale Museum of Discovery & Science has a special exhibit running until May 2, 2011 with Clyde Butcher’s gorgeous photography featured. I missed his exhibit the first time he was featured at the Museum, and hope I can see it this spring before it ends. Maybe one of my photographically inclined friends will come check it out with me. 🙂
